How long have you been in business?
Dean started the agency in October 1987, almost 29 years ago. Karen joined the agency in 1996.
What is your primary product or service?
We specialize legal investigations and expert consultations of personal injury, negligence and death / serious bodily injury in civil, criminal and probate litigation in Colorado and nationwide. We also continue to provide individual locates, backgrounds, and assets & liabilities records checks and investigations in Colorado and nationwide.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
It was an interest since before Jr. High. As the son of a Navy lifer, we moved frequently and I learned to find and keep track of friends in the 1970s. In later years I learned more about the skillsets. After determining my high school job would not be a career, I started to look into options that included owning my own business. - Dean
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
In addition to our time in business and familiarity with the area and people of northern Colorado, we have various certifications (Dean is a Certified Legal Investigator, both are Certified Criminal Defense Investigators and certified in Medicolegal Death Investigations) that require specific minimum annual hours of continuing education. We are also published authors of books and articles, and involved at the state, national and international levels in association leaderships. Our skills and experience meet the needs of clients.

We are based in northern Colorado and offer our services nationally and internationally.

Dean and Karen Beers jointly own the agency and take care of all daily operations and assignments personally.

The nature of our work is 24/7; however our general hours are business hours of 8am to 5pm Mon-Fri.
